Inaugural NYC Trek Focuses on International Development and Philanthropy

The inaugural UChicago Careers in Public and Social Service (UCIPPS) Trek took on New York City, with 12 undergraduates and one graduate student joining UChicago staff for two days of visits across Manhattan. Students crisscrossed New York throughout the trek, which was focused primarily on career paths within international development, human rights and careers in philanthropy. Through the support of generous alumni and employer partners, students visited a wide range of organizations over the course of just two days.
