UCIJAM Kicks Off with Inaugural Trek to London

The UChicago Careers in Journalism, Arts, and Media (UCIJAM) program hit the ground running by sending students to one of the world's foremost arts and media centers: London. Eleven students joined Career Advancement for this three-day immersion experience; the group was given the opportunity to visit a variety of media and cultural organizations throughout London and beyond to expand their professional network and explore the diverse career opportunities available in their fields of interest. This trek provided students with the opportuity to meet with alumns working in these fields and receive insightful advice on not only careers in journalism but the importance of netowrking in these fields.
