Make a Difference
Start off your second year at UChicago by honing your professional skills, building your resume, and making a difference through the UC Impact Program!
Class of 2023 students had the opportunity to work on substantive projects with organizations during the week of September 21-25, 2020 before the Autumn Quarter began. During these week-long experiences, groups of 4-5 students were matched with an organization to complete an assignment together and each student focused on building a specific skill, such as project management, research, writing, data analysis, or design. Projects took place remotely from around the world.
All UC Impact opportunities have a focus on social impact and take place across a variety of fields, including the arts, consulting, finance, government, medicine, law, nonprofits, STEM, and more! Host employers included:
- Advance Illinois
- McDermott Will & Emery
- National Constitution Center
- OpenFin Technologies
- The Policing Project – New York University Law School
- The Soondra Foundation
Projects offered through the UC Impact program are unpaid, pro-bono opportunities.
The application for UC Impact 2021 will open in Summer 2021.
