Career Advancement is excited to announce that a new grant for unpaid internships, the Pat Rosenzweig Fellows Internship Fund, will launch this academic year. The program is named for Pat Rosenzweig, AB'61, a dedicated UChicago alumna and tireless advocate for students who passed away in December 2015. After retiring from a highly successful career, Pat served as a volunteer adviser with Career Advancement's UChicago Careers in Public Policy and Service program. She mentored countless students and guided them to fulfilling careers in the public sector. As a testament to her lifelong commitment to UChciago students, Pat bequeathed a gift to fund internship opportunities in public policy and service.
The new Rosenzweig Fellows Internship Fund will support students who have secured unpaid summer internship opportunities with public policy and service organizations (e.g., non-profits, policy research, local and federal government, economic developmentc etc.). Students from all majors and class years may apply, and both domestic and international internships are eligible for funding. To learn more about the program and how to apply, visit the Rosenzweig Fellows program webpage.
Career Advancement is incredibly grateful to Pat for her years of service and for making it possible to offer this new resource to students.
