The application to medical school consists of two parts:

1) Written Application

  • Primary Application:

A common application that collects general information about your preparation for and interest in medicine

  • Secondary Application:

School-specific essays submitted directly to the schools to which you have applied

2) Interviews: After reviewing written applications, medical schools invite candidates to interview either in-person or virtually with an admissions team.

Careers in Healthcare provides sustained and individualized support for applicants through our Current Applicant Support Series (CASS).
