UChicago Impact Competition

The UChicago Impact Competition is a “Shark Tank” style competition where teams of students pitch ideas to address a policy challenge. Each year features a different policy theme.

For the 2025 competition, students will work with a local nonprofit on a specific case related to public transportation in Chicago. The winning team will receive $10,000 and the second-place team will receive $3,000. The winning team will also receive an opportunity to implement their idea with the local partnering organization.

Each team will have 4 people, but students do not need to have an existing team to sign up. We will match all students into teams of four people.
