Specialized Career Cohorts
Get expert support and join a community of peers by applying for a specialized career cohort! These programs provide intensive career preparation across a variety of industries. Each program offers professional development opportunities and hands-on experiences. In addition, some programs fund internships and other career opportunities.
These programs are a great fit for students who are interested in an immersive and structured experience, enjoy being part of a cohort, and feel comfortable making a commitment of a year or more.
Students are welcome to apply to and participate in as many programs as interest them, provided they can meet all program commitments. Visit the "Application Tips" section below for advice on how to create a strong and compelling application!

Focus: students with a strong interest in the education sector, including teaching, administration, research, policy, edtech, and more.
Commitment: 3 years
Eligibility: first years eligible to apply; students begin the program in Autumn Quarter of second year. Second and third years are welcomed to reach out to Liz Schutz at lizschutz@uchicago.edu to discuss ways to get involved.
