Global Health Internship and Career Development Programs
Global Health Careers provides a number of opportunities for you to get involved, meet other students interested in global health, and develop key professional skills.
- Global Health Scholars Program. The Pozen Global Health Scholars Program is a selective track that introduces undergraduates to a broad scope of functions needed in the field of health equity. Open to first, second, and third-year students of all majors, students apply to join annually in Spring Quarter.
- Kiphart Collegiate Fellows Program. The Kiphart Collegiate Fellows Program provides students with stipends to support experiential learning internships in global health and social development, with a preferred focus on the Global South.
- Center for Global Health – Summer Research Fellowship. The CGH Summer Research Fellowship allows promising undergraduate students to take part in a 10 to 12-week Fellowship where they will benefit from first-hand experience working in research settings in Chicago and one of our partnering sites abroad. CGH’s prestigious partnerships offer a strong local mentoring infrastructure as well as longitudinal and well-defined projects.
Kiphart Global Health and Social Development Policy Challenge
Career Advancement is partnering with the Kiphart Center for Global Health and Social Development to offer a four-week policy challenge for second-and third-year students to propose policy solutions to the challenge of promoting environmental justice. Visit the Challenge overview page to learn more.
