Alumni Board Job Shadowing Program

Program Overview

Spend 1-5 enriching days learning more about an exciting career through the Alumni Board Job Shadowing Program!

A partnership between Career Advancement and the Alumni Board, the Alumni Board Job Shadowing Program gives undergraduates the opportunity to shadow UChicago alumni, family members, and friends at their place of work during winter, spring, and summer breaks. During a job shadowing experience, also known as an "externship", students get a firsthand look at the daily life in their field of interest, expand their professional network, and identify possible career paths.

WANT TO PARTICIPATE?

The deadline for the winter 2018 cycle is now closed. Students will find out about their placements on November 16, 2018. Students will only be given one placement per cycle, and you are welcome to reapply to future cycles of the program.

The Spring 2019 cycle will take place over spring break from March 25-29, 2019. The sign-up form will open in winter quarter.
