UChicago Career Advancement is excited to announce the launch of our inaugural Career Advancement September program “Doing Business in the Middle East”, developed in collaboration with the American University of Cairo.
This innovative program offers UChicago undergraduate students a unique opportunity to gain practical experience, enhance their professional skills, and learn more about what Egypt and the region have to offer!
A culminating highlight of the program is a three-day business trek in Cairo, where students will engage directly with companies and engage with employers, gaining valuable insights into the region’s business landscape and preparing them for future global career opportunities!
This program will run September 7 through September 25, 2025 in Cairo Egypt.
During the trek, you'll visit a variety of employers in the industry and have the opportunity to:
Learn more about each company and how they position themselves in the market
Meet and network with professionals and alumni working in this field
Hear from recruiting teams about relevant internship/job opportunities
